This policy explains what data the mobile action game Taleguard ("the game") uses, why, and what choices you have. It applies to every version of the game, on iOS and Android.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Ardevtek Yazılım. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@ardevtek.com.
2. The short version
- The game has no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or age.
- Your game progress is stored only on your device. There is no cloud save and no game server. The Daily Tale is created on your device from the date.
- The game shows only rewarded ads that you choose to watch (to revive after a run, or to double the gold you collected). There are no full-screen ads between runs and no banner ads.
- You can buy a one-time "Supporter Pack" through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details.
- One third-party service receives data from the game: Google AdMob (ads).
- The game has no analytics and no crash reporting.
- We do not sell your personal data.
3. Data that stays on your device
The following is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the game.
- Game progress: your gold, the heroes you have unlocked and the one you play with, the tales you have finished, your curse level, permanent upgrades, achievements, statistics (such as enemies defeated, bosses defeated and your best time), and which weapons you have used or turned into legends.
- Daily quests, your Daily Tale result for each day (best score, whether you won) and your streak, and your Endless Tale record.
- A run you left unfinished, so that you can continue it after the game closes.
- Settings: sound, music and effects volume, vibration, screen shake, damage numbers and the language.
- Whether you have bought the "Supporter Pack".
4. Data shared with others
Google AdMob
- What: advertising identifier (on iOS the IDFA only if you allow tracking; on Android the advertising ID), IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device and app information, ad interactions, and performance and diagnostic data from the ads software.
- Why: to show and measure the ads, to limit how often you see them, and to prevent fraud.
- Legal basis: your consent where the law requires it (EEA, UK, Switzerland; iOS tracking permission). Personalised ads are shown only with that consent.
- Ad content: the game asks Google only for ads rated at most PG (parental guidance).
Google processes this data under its own terms and may process it outside your country, including in the United States. You can read how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
In-app purchase (Apple App Store, Google Play)
- What: when you buy or restore the "Supporter Pack", the payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. The game only receives confirmation that the purchase is valid; it never receives your name, payment card or billing details.
- Why: to give you the pack's rewards and to restore the purchase on a new device or after reinstalling.
- Legal basis: performance of the purchase you make. Apple (apple.com/legal/privacy) and Google (policies.google.com/privacy) process the payment under their own privacy policies.
5. How long data is kept
- Data on your device: until you uninstall the game.
- AdMob data: according to Google's retention policies (see the links above).
- Purchase records: kept by Apple or Google according to their policies, so that you can restore your purchase.
6. Your choices
- Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): the game asks for your consent before ads are loaded. Where this applies, you can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy options.
- iOS tracking: the game asks for tracking permission when you first open it. You can allow or deny it, and change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. The game works the same either way.
- Android advertising ID: you can reset or delete it in your device settings under Google → Ads (the exact path depends on the device).
- Rewarded ads are optional: you can play the whole game without watching them.
- Supporter Pack: you can restore it in the game under Settings → Restore purchases.
- Delete your data: uninstalling the game removes everything it stored on your device. To ask about data held by Google, contact us (see below).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Because the game has no accounts, we usually cannot link data to you personally; if you contact us we will help you exercise these rights, including with Google, and reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Turkey: the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK).
8. Children
The game is made for a general audience and is not designed specifically for children. It does not ask for age and does not ask anyone for personal information. Ads are limited to content rated at most PG (parental guidance). If you are a parent or guardian and have a question about your child's data, contact us and we will help, including with requests to Google.
9. Changes to this policy
If what the game collects changes, we update this page at the same address and change the effective date above.
