About the game

The pages of the storybook are drowning in ink. On a journey from the snowy forests of the North to the bamboo groves of the East, from the Slavic woods to the deserts of the Arabian Nights and on to Anatolia, the creatures of the tales are coming for you. Move with one finger; your weapons attack on their own.

HOLD OUT AGAINST THE HORDE • Hundreds of enemies fill the screen; pick a new weapon or upgrade every time you level up. • Max out your weapons and turn them into legends with the right upgrade. • Fuse two weapons into a brand-new, far stronger one.

FIVE TALES, FIVE WORLDS • Every tale has its own creatures, music and boss: the Frost Giant, the Oni Chief, Baba Yaga, the Ifrit Sultan and Tepegöz. • Tale events change every run: blizzards, lanterns, fog, sand whirlwinds and the rocks Tepegöz hurls at you. • On the last page, the Ink Lord is waiting.

A NEW CHALLENGE EVERY DAY • Daily Tale: the same tale, hero and rule for everyone. Beat your score and keep your streak. • Endless Tale: no final boss. How long can you last? • Read the book again on harder Curse levels.

PROGRESS THAT STAYS • Spend the gold you collect on permanent upgrades and unlock new heroes. • Achievements, daily quests and a collection full of folk-tale creatures.
