This policy explains what data the mobile game Mush Up ("the game") uses, why, and what choices you have. It applies to Mush Up 2.0 and later.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Ardevtek Yazılım. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@ardevtek.com.
2. The short version
- The game has no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or age.
- Your progress is stored on your device. Your device's own backup (iCloud or iTunes backup) can include it. There is no game server, and we never receive your progress.
- The game shows ads: rewarded ads that you choose to watch (to continue after a fall, or to double a level or daily reward), and occasional full-screen ads between levels. Full-screen ads never appear in the middle of a level, and there are no banner ads.
- One third-party service receives data from the game: Google AdMob (ads). If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores and achievements also go to Apple.
- The game has no analytics and no crash reporting of its own, no in-app purchases and no notifications.
- We do not sell your personal data. Where a US state privacy law treats personalised advertising as "selling" or "sharing" personal data, you can opt out (see section 6).
3. Data that stays on your device
The following is stored on your device and is never sent to us. Uninstalling the game deletes it from your device (see section 4 for device backups).
- Game progress: your level, the stars you earned on each level, your best height, your bolts, the skins you have unlocked and the one you wear, and your achievements.
- Record ghost: for each level, a replay of your best attempt (heights, tower angles and times), so that it can be shown as a see-through mushroom on your next try.
- Daily: your Daily Reward and Daily Level streaks, the last days you played them, and your Daily Missions.
- Settings: spin sensitivity, sound, music, vibration and language.
- A counter used by the ad rules: how many levels you have played since the last full-screen ad.
- Your ad consent choice: Google's consent tool stores it on your device and sends it to Google with ad requests, so that ads follow your choice (see section 6).
4. Data shared with others
Google AdMob
- What: advertising identifier (the IDFA only if you allow tracking), IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device and app information, ad interactions, and performance and diagnostic data from the ads software.
- Why: to show and measure the ads, to limit how often you see them, and to prevent fraud.
- Legal basis: your consent where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland; iOS tracking permission). Personalised ads are shown only with that consent. In US states with consumer privacy laws, you can opt out of personalised ads at any time (see section 6).
- Ad content: the game asks Google only for ads rated G (suitable for general audiences).
Google processes this data under its own terms and may process it outside your country, including in the United States. You can read how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Apple Game Center
- What: if you are signed in to Game Center, your total stars, the number of levels you have completed, your Daily Level time and the achievements you earn go to Game Center, together with your Game Center player profile.
- Why: to show the leaderboards and achievements.
- Legal basis: you choose to use Game Center. Apple processes this data under its own privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). We do not receive your Game Center data.
Device backups
- What: if backup is turned on for your device, iCloud or iTunes backup may include the game's save data in your device backup.
- Why: so that your progress comes back when you restore your device or reinstall the game.
- Legal basis: your device's backup setting. Apple stores backups under its own privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). We cannot access your backups.
5. How long data is kept
- Data on your device: until you uninstall the game.
- Device backups: according to Apple's backup policies, while backup is turned on.
- AdMob data: according to Google's retention policies (see the links above).
- Game Center data: according to Apple's policies, while you use Game Center.
6. Your choices
- Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): the game asks for your consent before ads are loaded. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy options.
- US state privacy laws: if you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law (for example California), you can opt out of the use of your data for personalised ads, which some of these laws call a "sale" or "sharing" of personal data, in the game under Settings → Privacy options.
- iOS tracking: the game asks for tracking permission when you first open it, before any ads are loaded. You can allow or deny it, and change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you deny it, the game does not use your advertising identifier. The game works the same either way.
- Rewarded ads are optional: you can play the whole game without watching them.
- Game Center: you can sign out in iOS Settings → Game Center. The game works the same without it.
- Delete your data: uninstalling the game removes everything it stored on your device. Backups are deleted in your device's backup settings. To ask about data held by Google, contact us (see below).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR, Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, to opt out of personalised advertising, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Because the game has no accounts, we usually cannot link data to you personally; if you contact us we will help you exercise these rights, including with Google, and reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Turkey: the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK).
8. Children
The game is made for a general audience and is not directed at children. It does not ask for age and does not ask anyone for personal information. Ads are limited to content rated G (general audiences). If you are a parent or guardian and have a question about your child's data, contact us and we will help, including with requests to Google.
9. Changes to this policy
If what the game collects changes, we update this page at the same address and change the effective date above.
