Effective date: 26 September 2026
This policy explains what data the mobile game Moon Thief: Day & Night ("the game") uses, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the Android and iOS versions of the game.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Ardevtek Yazılım. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@ardevtek.com.
2. The short version
- The game has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- Your game progress is stored only on your device.
- Ads in the game are always optional: you choose to watch one to get a reward.
- Two Google services receive data from the game: Google AdMob (ads) and Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports). Google Analytics for Firebase is included but switched off unless you consent to it.
- We do not sell your personal data.
3. Data that stays on your device
The following is stored only on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when you uninstall the game.
- Game progress: currency, hero levels, stars, formation and completed levels.
- Settings: sound, language, auto-advance and notification preferences.
- A daily counter of rewarded ads you have watched.
- A random identifier created by the game on first launch. It is not linked to you and is not sent anywhere.
- For reminders: the times of your last few game sessions, used only to choose when to show a local notification. Notifications are scheduled by your device's operating system; no server is involved.
4. Data shared with Google
Google AdMob
- What: advertising identifier (Android advertising ID; on iOS the IDFA only if you allow tracking), IP address, device and app information, ad interactions.
- Why: to show and measure the optional rewarded ads, and to prevent fraud.
- Legal basis: your consent where the law requires it (EEA, UK, Switzerland; iOS tracking permission). Personalised ads are shown only with that consent.
Firebase Crashlytics
- What: crash reports: stack trace, device model, operating system version, app version, and a Crashlytics installation identifier.
- Why: to find and fix crashes.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the game working.
Google Analytics for Firebase
- What: how the game is used (sessions, screens, game events) and a Firebase installation identifier.
- Why: to understand where players get stuck and improve the game's balance.
- Legal basis: your consent only. Analytics is off by default and is not switched on without it.
Google processes this data under its own terms and may process it outside your country, including in the United States. You can read how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
5. How long data is kept
- Data on your device: until you uninstall the game.
- Crashlytics crash reports: 90 days.
- Analytics (only if you consent): 2 months.
- AdMob data: according to Google's retention policies (see the links above).
6. Your choices
- Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): the game asks for your consent before ads are loaded. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy options.
- iOS tracking: you can allow or deny tracking when asked, and change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android advertising ID: you can reset or delete it in your device settings under Google → Ads (the exact path depends on the device).
- Ads are optional: you can play the whole game without watching any ads.
- Delete your data: uninstalling the game removes everything stored on your device.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Because the game has no accounts, we usually cannot link data to you personally; if you contact us we will help you exercise these rights, including with Google, and reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Turkey: the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK).
8. Children
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
9. Changes to this policy
If what the game collects changes, we update this page at the same address and change the effective date above.
